This has truly transformed our home and the way we experience it.
It's like living in a holiday resort that truly reflects who we are and how we want to live. It's amazing what an impact it's had on our overall comfort and happiness.
A previous conversion had turned this three-bed property in Walthamstow into a six-bed house, with shared kitchen and bathrooms, making it totally unsuitable for a family.
Our brief was to restore the property to a timeless, sophisticated home.
Having a lovely, cosy space which allows us to create memories, celebrate every little moment in life, and write our story together as a family is very important.
This Victorian home may look traditional from the outside, yet inside the layout here is reversed. The dining area is located towards the front of the house while the reception space is moved to the back, creating a tranquil space to relax and enjoy the best views of the re-landscaped garden.
The internal space is arranged around a centrally planted courtyard, separating the infill extension from the original house and providing natural light directly into the middle of the ground floor.
